Inspect before the batch
Generate the number of cards you need, then open your browser print preview. Look at the first card, one middle card, and the final host list. Make sure squares remain readable and no card is split awkwardly across pages.
Printer margins, scale, and paper settings differ. Print one sheet first if you have time, then adjust your settings before using the rest of the paper.
Keep the host copy separate
The last section of the preview is the calling list. Give it to the caller, not to players. It contains words used across the generated cards, so it remains tied to those exact cards.
Mark each word as it is called. If a win is disputed, the marked host copy is more reliable than guessing what was announced over a noisy room.
Choose marking materials
For a single party, pens or pencils are simple. For repeated rounds, put cards in clear sleeves and use suitable wipeable markers, or print a fresh set. Test markers on one sleeve before giving them to guests.
Collect reusable pieces after the round so the next group starts with clean squares. If a card is lost, reprinting a downloaded text list will not recreate its styled layout.
Understand what is saved
The page does not store your words or generated cards. Download TXT gives you the current words and caller order as a plain-text record; browser print lets you save a PDF through your own print dialog.
If you change any input, the tool generates a new set. Finish printing before editing and keep all pages from one generation together.
